Mary Deguair, 88, of Keauhou, died Oct. 19 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born Nov. 8, 1923, in Holualoa, she was a homemaker and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Friends may call at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 3 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Holualoa for a 9:30 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by sons, August Deguair of Puyallup, Wash., James (Gwen) Deguair of Honokohau; daughters, Beatrice (David) Torres of Kailua-Kona, Audrey Cagampang of Beaverton, Ore.; brother, Joseph (Amparo) Gouveia of Mountain View; sisters, Roseline Gouveia and Jane Henriques, both of Captain Cook, Julia Preston of Mountain View, Vivian Morimoto of Nebraska; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
